4 quarts popped popcorn
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Spread popcorn in a large roasting pan. In saucepan, add sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt. Cook over medium heat (stir constantly) until it boils. Continue to cook 5 minutes more after it boils but don't stir it. Remove from heat; stir in brown sugar and vanilla. Pour over the popcorn; stir until it is coated well. Bake uncovered 1 hour at 250º. You must stir every 15 minutes. When finished, pour into a large bowl and stir or break it up in bite size pieces.

I double this recipe because it disappears fast .
