2 tbsp. butter
3 c. sugar
1/4 c. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. light cream
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts, optional
Peanut butter to taste, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cook in saucepan butter, sugar, syrup, salt, cream and milk until 232º. Remove from heat and cool to 110º, or soft ball stage. Then beat until mixture thickens and add peanut butter, vanilla, and nuts. Pour into buttered pan. Cut into squares when cool.
