4 c. white sugar
1 tall can evaporated PET milk
1/4 lb. butter
2 pkgs. chocolate chips
1 pt. jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp. vanilla
nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar, evaporated milk, and butter in saucepan and cook to soft boil stage. Remove from heat at once and add chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla, and nuts. Mix well and pour into buttered 9X13" pan. When cool cut into squares.

Soft ball stage is determined when hot mixture can be dropped into a glass of cold water and rolled into a soft ball.
