3 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk in pan until bubbles form at the edge, not boiling. Remove from heat and beat in other ingredients. Put in baking dish. Sprinkle top with nutmeg. Fill a shallow pan with 1/4 inch water. Put custard in water and bake at 325º until set. Knife in center must come out clean.
