1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. flour
2 eggs
1 T. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. walnuts
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and half of brown sugar until fluffy. Gradually beat in one c. flour. Pat into the bottom of an 8" x 8" pan. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly. In bowl, beat eggs slightly. Stir in remaining brown sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt until well blended; add nuts and chocolate chips. Pour over crust and bake for 35 minutes.
