2 c Cake Flour
2 ½ tsp Baking Powder
(3 ½ tsp if fast acting)
¾ tsp Salt
1 1/3 c Sugar

½ c Shortening
2/3 c Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Flavoring

2 Eggs (unbeaten),
¼ c Milk

Step 1 Mix these ingredients together, then add:

Beat at high speed, 2 min., then add:

Beat two minutes
Bake at 350° 25-30 min.

Use “Butter Sugar Icing” recipe found on powdered sugar container. Ice one layer,
add sliced bananas, dribble more icing on bananas or top layer will stick. Use plain
icing on top and sides.
