1 lb. chicken cut up
1 1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/4 c. butter/margarine
1/2 c. diced onions
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. tarragon
1/4 c. parsley
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. water
1 can of chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3 c. (8 oz.) large shells, uncooked
2 T. flour
2 T. water

Directions:
Directions:
In 4 quart sauce pan, melt butter and cook onion for one minute. Add chicken, carrots, parsley, tarragon and pepper. Continue to cook until chicken is lightly browned. Blend in water, broth and lemon juice. Stir in shells and continue boiling, uncovered, for 11 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and gradually add flour blended with water until thickened.
