1 pt hevy cream
2 c sugar
3 c self-rising flour
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Beat eggs until thick and yellow. Add sugar and flour alternately with cream mixing with a wooden spoon. Fold in gently the vanilla.
Pour in ungreased sponge cake pan and bake about 1 hour at 350º. If cake appears not to be done after one hour continue baking until set (up to 1 hour 20 minutes total). Cool at least 4 hours before serving.
Serve with whipped cream.
