2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup margarine or butter
1 cup water
1/4 cup (4 T.) cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Icing:
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup cocoa
6 T. buttermilk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter or margarine and cocoa in water; bring to a rolling boil; set aside. Beat together eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix egg mixture with flour, sugar, salt and soda. Beat in cocoa mixture. Place in a large cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes. Pour icing over cooled cake.
For the icing: Bring margarine, cocoa and buttermilk to a boil; beat in the powdered sugar and vanilla; mix in the chopped nuts.
