water
apple cider vinegar
Salt
Pepper
2 Tbs sugar

Directions:
Peel and slice cucumbers. Place in a large bowl. Add enough cold water & Vinegar to cover the cucumbers. May try about 1/4 cup vinegar to every cup water. Sprinkle with salt about 1-2 tsp and pepper to season. Add sugar(about 2-3 Tbsp) to taste. Let Marinate at least 2 hours before serving.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I am not sure what mom's water to vinegar proportions were. I guess you can choose the amount of vinegar for your taste. This recipe needs to be "fiddled" with sometimes ---- adjusting sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar.
