1 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, separated
1 Tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cup flour
1 cup nuts
strawberry preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Beat margarine & sugar until fluffy. Add in egg yolk& vanilla. Mix flour and salt together and slowly add to mixture.
Beat egg whites until frothy.
Shape level tsp. into balls, dip in egg whites, roll in nuts. Place on ungreased cookies sheet, flatten slightly.Indent centers, fill with strawberry preserves.

Bake 375º for 10-15 minutes or until light brown.
