2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 (15 oz) can beef broth
1 1/2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dark brown sugar

1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
2. Whisk in flour, and cook for 1 minute, whisking constantly.
3. Slowly whisk in broth; bring to a boil.
4. Whisk in tomato paste and next 3 ingredients; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
