8 apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Topping:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs

1/4 pound of melted butter (if you want crunchy top)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter a 9 x 13 pan. Place apples in pan. Mix sugar & cinnamon together in small bowl. Sprinkle mixture over the top of apples. For topping, mix flour,sugar, baking powder, & eggs in large bowl. Sprinkle over the top of apples & cinnamon mixture. If using butter, pour over the top of everything. Bake for 40-45 min. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
