1 3/4 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Cocoa
1 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1 1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Salt
2 Eggs
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 Cup Boiling Water

FROSTING
6 Tbsp. Butter (softened)
2 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup Cocoa
1/3 Cup Milk
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

Cake: Heat oven to 350º. Grease and flour two 9" round pans. In a large bowl, mix to combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium for two minutes. Stir in boiling water. Batter will be very thin. Bake 30-35 minutes and cool.

Frosting: Cream butter. Blend powdered sugar and cocoa in a separate dish. Alternate adding a little of the milk, then a little of the powdered sugar; blend into the creamed butter until they are all combined. Blend in vanilla.

Most delicious! I've never messed this one up- it always works perfectly. This cake is requested often- it's very moist and just the right chocolatiness.
