1/2 c sour cream (cultured)
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
1 1/2 t vanilla
13 oz. pecans or walnut halves (4 cups)

Directions:
Directions:
In a 3-qt saucepan, add sour cream, sugar, and vanilla. Cook to 224 degrees. Add nut halves and stir quickly until all nuts are covered with cream and sugar mixture. Pour out on waxed paper and separate nuts with two dinner folks.
These freeze well in plastic bags for up to 8 months.
