1/2 lb. popcorn
2/3 c white corn syrup
2 c sugar
2/3 c boiling water
2 T vinegar
2 T melted butter
2 t cream of tartar
1/8 t baking soda
2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together syrup, sugar, water, & vinegar and bring to a boil. Then add cream of tartar.
Boil until soft crack stage (275-280 degrees.)
Remove from heat & add butter, soda, & vanilla.
Pour over corn & shape into balls. It helps to butter fingers slightly.
