2 1/2 cups flour
3 eggs separated
4 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cups milk
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup oil
1 1/2 Tbsp sugar

White Sauce:

3 cups milk
3 egg yolks
3 Tbsp corn starch
1/3 cup honey

Waffles: Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Beat egg whites until stiff. Combine egg yolks, milk and oil and blend. Mix in dry ingredients. Fold in egg whites. Pour batter on hot waffle iron and cook until golden. Serve with syrup or white sauce. Double recipe makes 1 ice cream pail of batter. White Sauce: Heat milk over low heat. Add egg yolks, corn starch and honey, stirring continually until mixture is well blended. Remove from heat when sauce is thickened. Serve over hot waffles and top with fresh fruit.
