1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
10 oz white chocolate chips
1/2 cup macadamia nuts (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and shortening. Gradually add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Add egg. Mix well. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamy mixture. Cover and chill dough for 1 hour. Drop by spoonful. Bake at 350º for 12-14 minutes. Be careful not to overbake.
