Ingredients:  
About 3 lbs ham (fresh, smoked, or processed)
4-6 cooking apples cored and quartered
winter squash (acorn, butternut, banana), seeded and peeled
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine or 0-calorie butter spray
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Place ham in roasting pan or crock pot. Fill pot with apples and squash pieces. Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over ham, apples, and squash. Bake or slow cook until ham is done and squash is tender.
