1 egg plus 1 yolk slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 T. cornstarch
1 t. dry mustard
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
3 T. softened butter
1/2 c. mayonnaise

Toss:
4 c. broccoli flowerettes
1/2 c. raisins
6 slices crumbled bacon
1/2 medium red onion
2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. slivered almonds (toasted optional)
1 c. mandarin oranges (drained)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix egg, sugar, corn starch and dry mustard together. Mix vinegar and water together. Slowly whisk into egg mixture. Cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly until thick. Stir in butter and mayonnaise. Chill. Add to tossed ingredients and serve immediately.
