1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
½ onion chopped

Brown the meat and add the onion
Add
4 cups water
1 can pinto beans
1 can diced petite cut tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
Handful of carrots
1-tablespoon oregano
1-tablespoon basil
1-tablespoon parsley
Garlic to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp beef bouillon granules (use 4 if you use ground turkey)

Simmer or put in crock-pot
Before serving, bring to a boil and add a handful of your favorite pasta noodles
