Italian Herb Sautéed Chicken Breast Recipe

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
¼ stick of butter
¼ cup olive oil
4 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons Italian herb blend
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp white pepper


In a re-sealable plastic bag, place flour, Italian herbs, salt and pepper and mix well
In a large skillet, melt the butter and add the olive oil
Heat on medium until hot
Wash chicken breast thoroughly and cut each one in half
Place each half into plastic bag and coat with seasoned flour completely
Remove from bag and place on tray
Allow to rest for 3-4 minutes
Using tongs place each chicken pieces into hot oil mixture; cook on medium heat until golden brown, turn and repeat on the second side
Remove from pan add any additional chicken pieces and repeat procedure
Slice chicken into strips and if chicken is slightly pink internally, place in oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees
If not then place chicken slices into fettuccine and heat completely
Garnish and serve hot
