4 cups butter-flavor shortening
3 cups white sugar
3 c. brown sugar
8 eggs
1 tbsp + 1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp + 1 tsp salt
2 tbsp vanilla
8-9 cups flour
3 bags chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients. Preheat oven to 375°. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Uncooked dough and baked cookies both freeze well.
