1/4 c. butter
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 carrot, shredded
1 stalk of celery, chopped
1 lb. broccoli, chopped
1/2 c. flour
3 or 4 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
2 c. half-and-half
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. white pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. salt

Saute until tender butter, onion, carrot, celery, and broccoli. Stir in flour, broth, milk and half-and-half. Stir and cook until slightly thickened. Add the rest of the ingredients and heat to simmering.
