1 cup starter
Starter consists of
1 package of yeast
1 ¾ cup flour
1 T salt
1 T sugar
2 ½ cups hot water
3 cups flour
½ cup vegetable oil
½-1 cup milk
2 T Sugar optional
1 t salt
2 T Baking Powder
Make up 1 ½ hours before meal

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 300
2. Put starter in bowl and add oil, mix well
3. Add ½ c milk to bowl
4. Sift flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder together Add to bowl
5. add enough of the remaining milk to make dough so sticky
6. Knead several minutes grease pan
7. Roll out and cut biscuits 1 inch thick
8. Bake at 300 degrees for ½ hour and then at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
