2 cups E-Z Bake Corn Meal
cups boiling water
5 tbsp melted shortening
1 cup sour milk
tsp baking soda
cup water
1 egg
1 cups enriched E-Z bake Flour
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
cup sugar

Pour boiling water over the corn meal
Mix and add melted shortening
When cool add sour milk
Dissolve soda in water and add
Add well beaten egg
Sift all dry ingredients together and add, beating until smooth
Turn into well greased 8 x 10 pan and bake 30-35 minutes in hot oven 400 degrees
