1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened
2-3 green onions, green ends sliced fine
1 (8oz) package large fresh mushrooms
salt& pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Place sausage in skillet and cook until evenly browned. Drain and transfer to a medium bowl.
Blend cream cheese with sausage, add green onion tops and stir to mix. Add salt and pepper.
Remove stems from mushrooms and clean out caps with a teaspoon. Stuff mushroom caps with the sausage and cream cheese mixture.. Arrange stuffed mushrooms on a medium baking sheet. Bake for 20-30 min. or until light brown

This will make about 8 to 10 stuffed caps, depending on how big your mushrooms are. They go fast so I usually double the recipe.
