2 cakes yeast
1/4 c warm water
1 c scalded milk
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
4 1/2 c sifted flour
3 egg yolks or 2 eggs
cinnamon and raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water for about 5 minutes or until it foams. Add scalded milk to salt, sugar and butter. When lukewarm add the yeast, eggs and flour. Let rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel until doubled in size. Punch down, knead and add the cinnamon, raisins and nuts if desired.
Divide and shape into individual rolls. Put on a greased cookie sheet and let rise again. Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 10-15 minutes.
