5 lbs potatoes
1 stick of butter
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 small container sour cream
1 8 oz cream cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Boil the potatoes and drain. Mash well or beat with hand mixer. Add 1/2 stick of butter and all the remaining ingredients together. Beat together. Place in a greased casserole. Dot with remaining 1/2 stick butter. Cover with foil and refrigerate.
To Serve:
Bake at 350º for 15 minutes covered. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes.

This is it! The famous Rosemarie potato recipe! I suspect there was more butter added as the years went on but either way these are addictive and if made correctly have a lovely yellow hue.
