1 C. Butter, 2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. corn syrup, 1 t salt, 1/2 t. soda,1 t. vanilla, 6 qt. popped corn (I prefer butter flavor microwave. Make sure you remove the unpopped ones.) Mixed nuts are good too...just not for kati.

Melt butter, stir in sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil-stiring for 5 min. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn. Mix well. Turn onto 2 large baking pans and bake at 250º for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cool complerely and break apart. Keep in tightly covered container.
