1 lb.can yams, cut into bite size pieces
1 16 oz jar chunky applesauce
1 tsp cinnamon

Topping:
3/4 c dark brown sugar
4 T flour
3/4 c instant rolled oats
1/3 c margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Topping: Mix first 3 ingredients and cut in margarine until crumbly.
Arrange a little less than 1/2 of the applesauce in a 6"x10"x2" baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 the cinnamon. Spoon 3 T of the topping over the applesauce base. Evenly arrange the yams. Add the remaining cinnamon and applesauce. Spread the rest of the topping evenly. Bake at 350º until heated through, 30-40 minutes. Serve hot, plain or topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
