2 sticks butter(room temperature, no substitution)
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs(room temperature)
1 c. 7 Up(Mountain Dew or Sprite)
3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and Crisco. Add sugar and mix until blended. Add eggs 1 at a time; add vanilla. Alternate flour with 7-Up. Pour into a tube pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove from pan and drizzle glaze on top of cake.
Glaze: Confectioner's sugar, 1 tsp. lemon juice and milk(enough to make a thin mixture).
