1/2 stick butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. powdered milk
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. apple juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1-2 delicious apples, cored & grated

Directions:
Core and grate apples. Some people peel them, but I like to leave the peel on. Melt butter and set aside. Mix eggs, brown sugar, and powdered milk. Add butter and mix. Add water, juice, vanilla, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder. Mix well. Stir in grated apples. Cook on a griddle. If batter is too thick, add more apple juice. (I usually add 1/3 to 1/2 cup.)
