4 large Vidalia onions
1 stick butter or margarine
1/4 c. milk
24 Ritz crackers, crumbled
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Peel onions and chop coarsely. Saute onions in butter for 15 to 20 minutes until clear; stir in milk. Put half the onion mixture into a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish with half the crackers and sprinkle with cheese. Repeat layers ending with cheese. Bake uncovered at 325ºF for 30 minutes.
