20 squirrels
30 (med.) potatoes, peeled
15 (med.) onions
Tabasco, to taste
1 bottle Worcestershire sauce
salt
pepper
˝ c. margarine
8 oz. mild Cheddar cheese

Optional:
2 bell peppers
2 stalks celery
1 can whole kernel corn

Directions:
Directions:
Boil or pressure cook squirrels until tender. Let cool and debone. Save broth. In lg. pot, bring broth to a boil, add potatoes, onion, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco salt and pepper and optional ingredient if you wish. Add only these ingredients after the liquid is boiling. When potatoes and onions are done add meat to mixture. Bring to boil again but with low heat to prevent scorching. Stir constantly, Keep lid on pot. When mixture is at a slow boil, add butter and cheese. Let melt well. Stir well so it mixes well. After this is done, it is ready.

Stacey is the wife of Bill Hollenshead, Jr. & the daughter-in-law of the late Bill & Nelwyn (Greene) Hollenshead. She contributed this recipe in memory of Allen "Buddy" Hollenshead who was an outdoorsman and hunter extraordinaire. According to Buddy….You always want to stir pot well before serving into bowl. The main thing is not to scorch. That means taking your time and cook slow.
