3 cloves garlic, minced
cooking oil
6 large onions, finely chopped
6 large green peppers, finely chopped
6 lb. ground round or chuck
5 16 ounce cans Italian style tomatoes
5 16 oz. cans kidney beans, drained
2 6 oz. cans tomato paste
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp. wine vinegar
5 whole cloves
3 bay leaves
4 tbs. chili powder or more to taste
4 drops tabasco sauce or more to taste
2 tsp. cumin

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot, saute garlic in oil and remove. Saute onions and peppers until golden; remove and drain. Add meat to oil; separate with a fork and cook until all meat is grey in color. Drain off accumulated oil. Add onions and green pepper to meat; mix well and then add all of the remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Remove cloves and bay leaves before serving.
