40 whole garlic cloves peeled
1/4 cup liquid honey
2 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
2 Tbsp chopped thyme
1 Tbsp softened butter
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1.5 kg (3 lb) bone-in or boneless chicken pieces

Place chicken and garlic in foil lasagna pan (or roasting pan reserved for BBQing). Stir together honey, rosemary, thyme, butter and salt. Toss chicken and garlic with honey mixture to coat. Pour in wine. Place pan on grill over medium heat and close lid. Cook for 50 to 60 minutes or until chicken and garlic are tender and golden, turning chicken occassionally and adding water if needed to maintain at least 1/2" of liquid in bottom of pan. To cook in oven, combine ingredients as above and cook at 400º for 50 to 60 minutes, turning once or twice. Sprinkle with parsley before serving. Serves 4-6. The garlic softens and takes on a milder flavor as it cooks. Spread the softened cloves on fresh bread if there are any left.....Enjoy !!!
