pre-made single crust pie shell
1 can pumpkin (14oz)
1 pkg cream cheese (4oz)
2 eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 Tbsp flour
1 tsp each cinnamon and vanilla
1/2 tsp each ginger, nutmeg and salt

Directions:
Directions:
Line pastry shell with 2 tsp finely grated orange rind. Mix all ingredients for filling in food processor or blend well with mixer. Pour into pie shell and bake in bottom third of oven. Bake at 400ºF for 10 minutes. Lower temperature to 350º and bake for another 50 minutes or until set. Cool and top. Pipe or spoon whipped cream rosettes around edge and decorate with pastry leaves cut out of left over scraps of pie shell. This recipe can be doubled without losing taste or consistency .
