1 lb. pork sausage
3 chicken bouillon cubes
3 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. dried thyme, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
In electric skillet set at 350º, brown sausage; slowly stirring to break into small pieces, drain off fat. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add to sausage. Bring to a boil. Slowly stir in cornmeal, salt and thyme. Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour into greased 4x8x2 loaf pan. Chill until firm or overnight. To serve, unmold the mixture and cut into 1/2 inch thick slices. Dip in cornmeal or flour and slowly brown; about 8 minutes on each side. Serve with butter and syrup, or just plain if desired.
