1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
3 c. Snoqualmie Falls Lodge Oatmeal (or old fashioned oatmeal)
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350º F. Using an electric mixer, cream together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla on low speed until smooth Stir in flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder and salt until blended. Add oatmeal and raisins and continue to stir until blended. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Makes 4 1/2 dozen cookies.

Great cookies!! If you prefer a chocolate oatmeal, substitute chocolate chips for the raisins and omit the cinnamon.
