Personal Notes:
This was a favorite Sunday dinner, that my grandma Dorothy Mills Otto and my mom Jean Otto Simons prepared often. Coming home from church at grandma's or at home and that delicious aroma of roast beef greeting us at the front door was warm and wonderful.Eating the dinner on the "Sunday China" was an added treat. Sunday dinner was not complete without one of Dorothy's fabulous pies. She knew all our favorites, mine being blueberry. She made me her last blueberry pie when I was down in Arizona in 2006 helping to pack her up to move into Cook's Health Center.
