Ingredients:  
1/2 pound smoked sausage, cut into thin slices (I use beef kielbasa)
3 cups cut-up vegetable (onion, green pepper, and celery)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup of hot sauce
3 cans of red kidney beans, undrained
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
2 bay leaves
Hot cooked white rice

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for five minutes or until brown. Add onion, green bell pepper, celery and garlic. Cooked and stir three minutes or until vegetables. are crisp-tender. Stir in beans, hot sauce and herbs. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook uncovered, ten minutes stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaves. Serve over white rice.
