16 whole cloves
1/2 c. sugar
5 whole cinnamon sticks
3 teaspoons whole allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 gallon apple juice or cider

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Using a perk coffee maker, place cider in pot, put all spices in basket and perk as for coffee. This can also be made in a saucepan, simmering about 10 minutes, then strain.
