1 c. persimmon pulp
2 1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 TBS. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt

Add milk and dry ingredients to the persimmon pulp. Mix well. Bake in slow oven (250º) for 1 hour or until brown on top.

We used to gather persimmons in Great Grandma Miller's backyard and process the pulp in a grinder. Pulp can be frozen.
