1 tablespoon pickling spice
1 onion
3 1/2 cups water
2 bay leaf
3 1/2 tablespoons salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups vinegar
5 pounds mushroom
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

Combine first 7 ingredients boil for 30 minutes.

Add mushrooms, salt, lemon juice and water.
Boil for 20 minutes.
Chill overnight.
Store in jars.
