2 C flour
2 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C margarine softened
1 C chopped nuts
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 C sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 C finely chopped, peeled apples

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and margarine; blend at low speed until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Press 2 3/4 cups of crumb mixture into ungreased 13x9 inch pan. To remaining mixture, add cinnamon, baking soda, salt, sour cream, vanilla and egg; blend well. Stir in apples. Spoon evenly over base. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cut into squares.
