2 C butter
2 C sugar
2 C brown sugar
2 T vanilla
4 eggs
5 C oatmeal
4 C flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
24 oz chocolate chips (or other flavor chips)
8 oz Hershey milk chocolate bar - shredded
2 C nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar in large bowl. Then add vanilla and eggs.
In separate large bowl sift together oatmeal, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add dry mixture to creamed mixture. Then add chocolate and nuts.
Form cookies the size of golf balls. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Recipe from Cathy Marks. I like to add different kinds of chips and mix up partial batches with different chips. This make a very large batch of cookies.
