10 lb tomatoes
5 lb onions
6 cups white sugar
1/2 package pickling spice
4 cups white vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut tomatoes and onions, sprinkle with 3/4 cups table salt. Stank over night covered with something heavy so that all is immersed in brine.

DRAIN AND RINSE in morning

Put all ingredients in pot and bring to a boil, turn down to simmer and cook slow 3 - 4 hours. Bottle and seal while hot.
