1 c. Shortening
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Light Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. Sifted Plain Flour
1 tsp. Soda
3 c. Quick Cook Oatmeal
1 c. Chopped Pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, add sugar gradually. Add vanilla and eggs. Beat well. Sift flour and soda and add to mixture. Then oatmeal and pecans. Shape into small balls, place on cookie sheet and bake at 425º about 7 minutes.
