2 pounds turkey meat
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons sugar or molasses
4 beef bouillon cubes
2 cups boiling chicken broth
1/2 cup water
4 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons soy sauce
4 teaspoons Gravy Master (or 2 teaspoons blackbean sauce and 2 teaspoons oyster sauce)

Brown 2 pounds turkey meat. Add 1 tablespoon garlic powder and 2 tablespoons sugar/molasses.

Dissolve 4 beef bouillon cubes in 2 cups boiling chicken broth.

In 1/2 cup water, dissolve 4 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 4 teaspoons Gravy Master. Stir into pan until thick and smooth.

Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Serve over rice and garnished with chopped scallions.

OPTIONS: Add shrimp during the last few minutes of the cooking process - careful not to overcook.

FOR MORE AUTHENTIC TASTES - use fresh garlic and black bean sauce, oyster sauce to taste in lieu of Gravy Master and molasses instead of sugar.

This is only a guide. You must taste as you go along and use your own judgement. It's a little of this and a little of that but well worth it.
